For some reason, I like the look of this lone purple and white agapanthus with the backdrop of greenery and the tufts of dried grass in the foreground. The fact that it’s leaning and not straight, gives what I managed to capture, a sense of authenticity, n’cest pas!

Pride of Madeira

I literally stopped in my track, when I spotted these purple-blue flowers. I discovered later when I looked at my photo, that I had inadvertently managed to capture the sunlight streaming down over the flowers. Lucky me!

Foxglove or Lady glove

Whilst these delightful flowers are enchanting, they are poisonous to human or animal touch.

Fortunately, Digitalis purpurea assists when a medicinal compound called digoxin is extracted and used in small doses to treat heart failure or abnormal heart rhythm.
